    PSHRA is excited to announce a training in regard to PERS Disability.

    This first of its kind presentation is designed to educate employers about the differences between PERS Tier 1 and Tier 2 versus Oregon Public Service Retirement Plan member disability.

    Following are the topics that this presentation will cover. The points covered will be from the perspective of the HR reporter, Tier members, and OPSRP members. Because this reflects Oregon Law, this presentation is specifically designed so you will not have to take notes. The Presentation is 45 minutes long with an additional 15 mins for questions.


    Our Presenter:

    Dan Gregory

    Mr. Gregory was employed by PERS in 2000 as part of their education team and was promoted to Senior Retirement Specialist and lead of the PERS Member Information Center in 2017. He developed a comprehensive training and mentorship program and hired and trained the entire call-center and correspondence team. His accolades include the State of Oregon’s Ambassador of Public Service award (2019), the inaugural PERS Team of the Year award (2022), and a national Customer Experience award (2022). Since retiring in 2024, Dan has partnered with VOYA representatives as a PERS consultant, trainer, and presenter.
