The Oregon IPMA-HR Chapter, Oregon Government Finance Officers' Association (OGFOA), and the Oregon Employment Department are hosting a Paid Family and Medical Leave Insurance (PFMLI) overview. Once implemented, the PFMLI program will help Oregonians take time off from work to bond with a new child, to care for themselves or family members when experiencing a serious health condition, or to take safe leave for issues related to domestic violence, harassment, sexual assault, or stalking. The department’s PFMLI team is currently working to develop policies and administrative rules related to the program.

Because the program is still in the process of being developed, this session will provide a general overview of the information relevant to employers and will provide an opportunity for individuals to ask questions, identify potential issues, raise concerns, or make suggestions relating to the program’s development and the administrative rules needed to implement the program.

The PFMLI team invites you to share your questions ahead of time, or during the overview presentation. Please send all questions to PaidFamilyandMedicalLeave@oregon.gov.

This event is available for no cost to IPMA-HR Oregon Chapter members and members of the Oregon Government Finance Officers' Association (OGFOA). OGFOA members will receive a registration code from OGFOA.
