About Us

The Oregon Chapter of the Public Sector Human Resources Association (PSHRA) is a non-profit membership organization for agencies and individuals in the human resources field, and others interested in the Association's objectives. PSHRA is the recognized leader in the delivery of innovative solutions and practical resources for all levels of public sector HR professionals. The Oregon Chapter of PSHRA is devoted to:

  • Providing quality professional development on topics relevant to public sector HR professionals
  • Fostering networking and sharing of best practices

The Oregon Chapter is an affiliate of the Public Sector Human Resources Association (PSHRA), a nonprofit and educational organization, committed to the advancement of the public sector by providing HR professionals with key educational and training opportunities, valuable resources and assessment products, and effective advocacy at every level of government. PSHRA represents more than 9,000 individuals and 1,100 agencies at the local, state and federal levels of government worldwide. PSHRA is comprised of four U.S. regions (the Oregon Chapter is in the Western Region) and more than 42 affiliate chapters that operate independently and provide members with professional resources and events and career advancement opportunities.

The Oregon Chapter is overseen by officers and directors elected by the chapter membership, with elections conducted annually. The officers and directors are responsible for the operation of the chapter under its bylaws.
