Join us for an overview of the PECBA and how to navigate the statute and bargain more effectively within the parameters of the Act. Diana and Steve are highly experience negotiators and will give you helpful tips and information on how to navigate the collective bargaining process. Great for HR managers and other management personnel who will sit on your bargaining team, or who just need education on how the process works.

Chapter members  will attend this event at no cost.

About our Presenters:

Diana Moffat is an attorney and labor relations expert. Diana currently serves at the Local Government Law Group, P.C. She is recognized statewide for her expertise at the bargaining table. Before representing governments, Diana served as a union attorney. This experience lends her critical insight during the bargaining process. Diana has bargained over 200 collective bargaining agreements. Her labor practice includes drafting collective bargaining proposals, researching comparative wages and benefits, presenting all proposals and justifications at the bargaining table as chief spokesperson and assessing counter proposals.

Steve Herron is the Labor Relations & Class/Comp Director for Multnomah County, where he's been since July 2011. Steve oversees negotiation and administration of eleven labor agreements for the county. Steve attended law school at Lewis & Clark's Northwestern School of Law and is a member of the Oregon State Bar.
