Like all equity work, pay equity is an ongoing process. Whether an organization is in the midst of its initial pay equity analysis or has already completed several, there is room to reflect and enhance existing policies and practices to ensure continued equitable employee compensation. In this session, we’ll review the fundamentals of Oregon’s Equal Pay Act and lessons learned from different approaches to conducting an pay equity analysis. We’ll also discuss strategies to maintain and further promote equity after initial implementation and manage the tension caused by market demands in a difficult recruiting environment.
