As part of the rebranding of the Public Sector HR Association, subordinate state chapters are in the process of redrafting conforming bylaws changes. Oregon is one of the first chapters to complete its work on this, and as required by the current chapter bylaws, the membership will be called upon to act on the proposed amendments to the bylaws.  The revised bylaws proposal in markup form have been approved by the chapter board, and, as required, have been determined by the Public Sector HR Association Executive Council to conform to standards of the international association.

The amended bylaws proposals are available: Proposed Oregon Chapter Bylaws May 2023.pdf

In addition to the bylaws amendments, chapter members will be asked to elect two individuals to fill vacant director positions on the chapter board. Both vacant positions are for terms ending December 31, 2023. Candidate biographical sketches are available in this document.

The election has been announced by email, and the election conducted electronically beginning May 2. Balloting will end at noon on Monday, May 15.  We encourage you to participate in the chapter elections.
